Everyone would love their own chauffeur driven car and arrive in style where ever they go but for many it is a far away dream unless you are a high flying business executive or multi millionaire. Or that’s the perception these days and us mere mortals only hire a chauffeur for those very special occasions like their wedding birthday or anniversary etc… But in reality the price of hiring a chauffeur driven car can be very reasonable when you compare like for like and what you get for your money. Let’s take an example journey from London to Heathrow Airport and all the modes of transport available.

Coach/Bus — cheap but you need to get to the terminal with your luggage and mix with other people

Train/Tube – Again is cheap but you need to get to the station with your luggage and mix with other people

Mini Cab – Can cost between £40-£60 and can be a hit or miss on what car you get and if the driver knows where he is going.

Black Cab — Can cost between £50-£80 and again it is pot luck on the state of what cab you get.

Stretch Limousine – Can be cost effective if you are in a party but on your own can be anything from £100 upwards depending on the size and model of vehicle .

Chauffeur Driven Car – Can cost from £50 – £85 depending on the car and company but most cars will be clean and arrive on time.

When you look at all the modes of transport above yes they will all get you from London to Heathrow Airport but not all will offer you the same level of service and professionalism that you will receive when you book with a professional Limousine or chauffeur company.

When booking a chauffeur service from a reputable chauffeur company you should always expect your car to turn up at your home or work at the time you arranged and your chauffeur should look smart presentable and courteous he should offer to assist you with your luggage and assist you getting into your car by opening the door for you. When sitting in your car it should look clean and tidy and have refreshments tissues and something for you to read. Your driver should act professional at all times and drive you to your destination in a safe manner so you arrive relaxed and stress free.

So for the same price as a black cab you can make your dream come true and feel like a multi millionaire and arrive at your destination in style in a luxury Mercedes S Class from Berkeley Chauffeurs.
